1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
We have tried to use Net Snippets, Noodlebib6, we attemtped to use blogs, and now we're using Wikipedia.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Learning more about a subject.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
I once successfully used noodlebib to cite an author's work. It was a positive experience and it made note-taking much easier.

2. What problems have I had? Finding out whether or not King Arthur was actually real, a myth, or a symbol.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s) Research, research, research. I will read more books and figure out the opinions of scholars and researchers.
4. What will I do next? Read some more books, check up on websites, and research.

What you will probably end up doing is presenting the evidence that supports people's opinions that Arthur was real and the evidence that supports people's opinions that he was a myth or a symbol. Then give your opinion based on what you learned. You will not be able to ABSOLUTELY learn if he was real or not. But you get to decide what you think based on what you research.

1. What have I learned today? That learning about Spartan warfare is much, much easier than learning about King Arthur. I also started learning about the Hoplite and the Phalanx.
2. What problems have I had? Finding things about Spartan warfare and not about general Greek warfare.
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)? Searching more specific articles and webpages.
4. What will I do next? Tommorow in class I'm going to find and cite at least one book. Then, over the weekends I'm going to find databases to cite. I will also learn more about Spartan warfare, and see 300 the movie to see if I can get a better understanding of Spartan warfare.

I'm assuming you changed your fat question. Did you get Mrs. DaQuanno to approve it? Make sure one of us approves it because you don't want to do all that work and have a question that can't be considered big enough for this research. Your topic sounds fine...just make sure your question is as well.
